Default Help with graphic element

Hey, there. I'm an absolute beginner with PowerPoint and am giving a presentation on Friday. I'd like to do something that's probably fairly simple on my title page, but I have no idea where to start. On my subtitle, I want to say my presentation is adapted from ... but then I want to X out adapted and say "stolen from." I still want adapted to be visible, just x-ed out. Is there a way to do that?

One way to do it is to add a clipart X

Insert --> Clipart --> Search for X

and place it over the word Adapted

Then add a text box with the word stole, perhaps angled and in a different font
