I'm making a quiz with Powerpoint. Each slide contains one question ("question slide"). Each question slide has a slide number (which also serves as question number). When the quiz ends I want to take the contestants through the correct answers. I want to display a slide with the correct answer ("answer slide"). This slide must also contain a slide number and this must be the same as the relevant question slide.
I have about 30 questions in my file, but most of the time I randomly only use about half of them. The question slides and answer slides I don't use will be deleted for that particular quiz. The automatic numbering of the slides takes care that there will be a continuous serie of slide numbers. But it goes wrong in the second half of my slides, where the answer slides start. How can I achieve that the question slides will be given automatic slide numbering and the answer slides will be given a cross reference to the relevant question slide? Actually I'm searching for the same cross reference functionality as in Word. Here's an example: Quiz.pptx If the answer to my question involves VBA, would you mind describing which steps I have to take (I'm an absolute beginner in this field). Please bear in mind that I'm using Dutch versions of Powerpoint (both 2010 and 2016 versions alternately), so if language is an issue in VBA (which I don't know), that might be a problem. Thanks for your suggestions!! Last edited by jazzmozz; 11-15-2016 at 12:39 PM. Reason: Added example file |
