PPT Text Looks Fine on PC, Garbled When Viewed on a Mac
HI Everyone,
I created a PowerPoint deck for a client. I have some slides with text that looks fine on my PC, but when the client views it on his Mac, it looks like it's been super condensed and a bit fuzzy. Here are the specifics: I'm on Windows 10 with PowerPoint 2016. My client is on a Mac (El Capitan) with PowerPoint 14.1, no add-ins. The first time I created the slides, I copied the text from a pdf and pasted it. The pdf was created from an InDesign file, where the text had been condensed. It looked fine on my PC but super squeezed on my client's Mac. I had also played around with condensing and expanding the text in PPT. The text is in all caps. Then I tried ungrouping the text box (it was a second line under a line of larger text), and sent a new single test slide to the client, which looked fine on his Mac. But when I sent the final full deck to him, the text got garbled again. The last thing I tried was removing the pasted text and typing it in from scratch, in a PPT textbox. It looks better on the client's computer but still not clean enough. Has anyone else seen this problem? Thanks! Jeri |
