Powerpoint | animation | depth management
Hello, new user here!
As an introduction I will be straightforward. For quite long I am trying to find out if it’s possible to change the depth of an object using the animation tool As a Basic Example I have 2 Btn that display different images at the same coordinates When I click Btn A. Image A goes on top of Image B When I click Btn B. Image B goes on top of Image A This seem easy enough to manage around it by removing (disappear) the other image all together but what about 5/10/20 Btn/Images Many thank in advance! Have a good day! (Also when creating an account you guys ask for the founder name William Henry Gates provide Incorrect Answer ) |

There's no animation that can change the z order.
In some versions of 2016 the Morph transition might be able to achieve the effect. Also you can use Collapse and Stretch to make it appear that the order is being flipped. Quick Demo |

Thank you!
Despite not being able to use morph for what I intend, the very fact that I was unaware of its existence made me learn something Collapse and Stretch aren’t working for the purpose either but you made it very clear that it was just a visual trick and I am grateful for the demo. You say there no animation that can change the z order so with that out of the basket is there any other way? |

The only way to REALLY move the order is to use code.
I have put an example here. Each shape has an Action of Run Code Make sure you enable macros The code is visible if you press ALT f11 |
