How to assess / validate properties of PPT?

Hey All,

I have a couple of investor presentations in both powerpoint 2016 and pdf format. The deal is a little odd, and the presentations have supposedly been put together by several very credible firms.

Some of the basic document properties are there and make sense (the author, etc.), but anyone could type that data in.

Any suggestions on a 3rd party software or things to look at in powerpoint or pdf that may show some revision history, other "meta" info about the docs?

This info can easily be reset and modified by the user and AFAIK there's no way to get the original info if it has been altered.

If it hasn't been messed with the revision number etc should be visible if you right click the file >> Properties >>Details but it may not be reliable.

John, thanks, that's what I thought, was wondering if there was something deeper encoded in the file, the "file properties" are super easy to alter
