Graphics in layout template
Hi!
I'm trying to create templates in powerpoint for a client. I wish them to consist och a background photo with some semi transparent graphics on top. I have created placeholders for everything and played out my graphics on top of the image placeholder, some simple squares with low opacity. When I use this layout, insert an image in the placeholder the image arranges itself to be on the front, blocking my graphics. And I cannot send the image to the back because the graphics in the template stays in the background. How do I create a template where the client can change the image in the background whilst keeping some semi transparent graphics on top of it? Thank you! |

Simple answer is you cannot. Graphics on a master always show behind placeholders. You can try adding a text placeholder in front of the picture placeholder, change default text to a space and add a transparent fill.
This is not really a good solution for clients though. A They can add text unexpectedly B If they add a picture to the picture placeholder ant then delete it to add another it will jump back to the front Last edited by JohnWilson; 08-02-2016 at 10:19 AM. |
