Hi
Please can anyone help me? I am trying to put a text box (active X) control into a powerpoint presentation which when the presentation is running allows me to enter text. From the developer tab I have inserted a text box (active X) control. I can select the font size, bold etc and get it all to work well when in slide show mode straight after creating it. I then save the changes, close the file, reopen it again and when I run the show it will not let me type into the boxes. The only way I can make it work again is to click on the developer tab, click on view code button then close it without doing anything. It will then work. Is there something I need to do to allow the text box (active X) control to be active on opening the powerpoint without having to access the developer tab? Has anyone got any suggestions that will help me or is there an alternative way of doing this? Thank you Chris |

I have managed to sort this one myself. Just in case anyone else has the same problem the presentation needs to be saved with the ending .pptm to allow the macros to be enabled on opening.
Hope this helps someone. Chris ![]() |
