Default Custom Colours

Hi,

I have created a custom colour palette in PPT2013 but for some reason I cannot get it to show under 'This Presentation' in the custom colours list. I have added these colours to the slide master and also Applied to All. Why will it not show under This Presentation? (see attachment)

Not sure exactly what you need but

To create custom colors

Select Colors from the dropdown in Variants

Choose Customise colors

Adapt the existing colors and give a name and save.

If you intend to distribute the template be aware the colors are saved on YOUR PC. They will not show on other peoples.

In the field which says This Presentation, as per my image. How do I get my custom colour palette to appear there?

Sorry I dont know. I don't even have a "This Presentation" field in 2010,2013 or 2016. Here the current color scheme has a red / orange box around it.

EDIT I asked around my colleagues. Seems this happens if you start with a template originally made in 2003 or earlier and then updated to a newer format and it's not easy to delete the old style 2003 colors or add your custom colors to this section.

Thank you for looking into this. I can believe that this is the case, so will have to recreate all templates from scratch in the future.
