Photo album with each slide for 2.5 seconds (not 2 and not 3)

I use PowerPoint 2007, but when I "Advance Slide Automatically After 00:025", it readjusts to "00:25" or 25 seconds. I have 100s of slides, but 2 seconds is too fast and 3 is too slow. Thanks.
