Arrow Recolor PPT 2007 clipart

PPT 2000 lets me recolor individual elements of a .WMF clip. E.g., I can change the bird's plumage elements from white to yellow. PPT 2007 only lets me recolor the entire clip (Recolor button), e.g. from full color to pastel purple.

Yet the PPT 2007 Help tells me I can recolor any part of the clip, using Picture Toolbar > Format > Adjust > Recolor Clip. There IS NO Recolor Clip button, only the Recolor button (Picture Toolbar > Format > Adjust > Recolor).

Is the Help wrong? Can I only change the overall color of the clip in PPT 2007? If so, I will recolor its individual elements in PPT 2000, and copy and paste it to PPT 2007.

Many thanks.
