Default How Do I Pause a Slideshow in Powerpoint 2016

What is the best way to insert a morphed animation at the end of a slide already containing other animations? I think I must somehow pause the slide (It cannot go black or white), hit "printscrn" on my keyboard, then use paint within which to paste it, save the resulting file, then use Insert in the pwpt interface to put this image back into the presentation. THEN I will add more animated objects to make the two-slide sequence complete.
I hope I'm explaining myself clearly.

Lemme try it again:
A rolling ball is to come in off-screen right. It is approaching another object which had just altered it's position, and when it arrives at the edge of it, it will alter it's shape (squashed into a football) in order to fit underneath. Though I'm no powerpoint expert, I believe I must pause the animation, then hit PrtScn to capture a still of the animation at just the right time. Then I can insert this into the slideshow, using it to measure the rolling ball.
