Unhappy Saving as image file removes formatting

Hi,

I'm having an issue regarding formatting. I have a PowerPoint slide(s) that I need to save as JPEG or PNG files. When I have PPT open and I'm looking at the slide, everything is normal. I have one line of text that is supposed to be bold, and it is when I'm looking through PPT. However, when I save the file as a JPEG, PNG, or GIF file and proceed to open the file, the bold formatting has been removed. Does anyone know why this would be?
