Default How to turn off (snap to object?)?

In PP 2016, when I draw a line from one shape to another, it tries to put the tip of the line on one of the handles of the other object--the handle turns into a green dot. I can find plenty of instructions to disable "snap to grid," but that doesn't seem to affect the "sticky green dot."

Thank you!
