Default Converting .ppt into .pdf and...losing all objects

Hi everyone.

Pretty sure many people have already faced this problem, but I somehow could not find anything online. So here it is:
I created a powerpoint presentation and inserted several objects (word, excel, pdf files) that can be opened both during normal view and slideshow regimes by clicking on them. The obejcts are inserted not as links, but as symbols (makes just a visual difference). Now when I convert the whole presentation into a pdf format the inserted objects turn into static pictures. So I cannot click and open them anymore.
So this is the problem. And I have no idea how to solve it. I do need to have the final presentation in pdf, but I also need it to contain all the clickable and openable objects
There is probably no direct way of solving this, but maybe at least some tricks how to do it?

Cheers!
