Powerpoint remote now goes only to the end instead of forward
Hi all - I've upgraded from Powerpoint 2010 to 2016, still running Windows 7. When I used my wireless remote in 2010, I could advance the slides one at a time. Now, with 2016, if I press the advance button, it takes me to the last slide. The reverse button works fine. This has happened with 3 different remotes, so I'm pretty sure it's in the powerpoint program. Any thoughts on how I can get the program to recognize the advance button for what it should be? Thanks!

If it was a general bug I think it would be circulating! Anyway it doesn't happen here using a Kensington remote
Can you check. Does it happen if you use the arrow keys to advance? If you make sure use Timings on the ribbon (SLIDE SHOW) is not ticked does it still happen? |

Hi John - thanks for responding. The arrow keys work fine with PP 2016. I tried unchecking the use timings and there was no change. And I'm using a Kensington remote also.
