Question Text Box Animation Over Video Woes!

Hello everyone! I just joined the forum, as I stumbled around the internet looking for some help regarding text box animation triggers over video on a slide. Basically I have a video with some fireworks, and I want to trigger two separate text boxes to appear at bookmarked times and stay for the remainder of the video.

I've followed the tutorials, I've watched video after video, and I just don't understand what I'm doing wrong. I've set the bookmarks, selected the transitions, triggered them with the appropriate bookmarks, but no matter what when I click play, I do not see the text boxes, only the video. I uploaded the file here, since it was too large for forum, and I'm really hoping for some feedback here. I'm pulling my hair out!

Thanks in advance,
-Dom

Hello Dom, I think it should work if you uncheck the Play Full Screen box in the Playback tab and stretch your video 'manually' to full screen size.

Thanks for the reply Judith! Now, that I changed it, the animations do occur at the correct times, but the text boxes appear from the beginning and then disappear and animate at the appropriate times. This is confusing the heck out of me! Thanks again!

Ahh!!! I got it! I had added an extra bookmark to the end of the video, and for some reason, deleting that made it work properly!!! Thank you so much!!!

I think that is due to the order in your animation panel. If you re-apply the triggers in the right order (first the trigger for bookmark 1, then the trigger for bookmark 2, then the triggers for bookmark 3) it should work.

Just saw your previous message - deleting the third is of course a very effective solution :-)
