.pptx file won't open in PowerPoint 2013

I have a powerpoint file which was created and saved using PowerPoint 2013. It is a .pptx file.


When i try to open the file using PowerPoint 2013 i get error message window saying ".pptx won't open in PowerPoint 2013 Look for an app in store"

I can open other PowerPoint files which have been saved in 97-2003 version without any problems.

The laptop i am trying to open this file up on has Windows 10 and Office Professional 2013.
On another PC with Windows 7 and Office Professional 2013 the file opens ok no problems.

Maybe post the pptx somewhere?

When you post in several forums you really need to say so. This prevents people working on a problem that has already been solved elsewhere.

Unfortunately i cannot attached the file as it has confidential information on.

I have never had any problems posting same issue on various forums before as this gives me a better chance of getting a reply.
