I had copied and pasted an excel chart into a PowerPoint slide as an embedded chart and kept the formatting. When I make revisions to the numeric values in the embedded excel chart the chart on the slides update but if I make formatting changes to the embedded excel chart the PowerPoint slide doesn't change. I've tried clicking the refresh icon but the formatting changes don't show on the PowerPoint slide. I have to make formatting changes on the PowerPoint slide itself but want them to be the same.
