Require both Time and Mouse Click to advance a slide
Title says most of it. I need to make my presentation require a mouse click to advance ONLY AFTER a certain amount of time has passed. Is there a way to do this in PPT 2013?
Thanks for any and all help!! |

Put rectangle to cover the whole slide and make it in the back of every thing (you can make it transparent from format menu if you want), then press once on it, then go to Insert menu and press Action and choose to hyperlink to the Current slide (choose the number of the Current slide), after that add Disappear animation to the rectangle with a delay time you want, then you can click the slide to go to the next slide after the rectangle Disappear.
SEE ATTACHMENT FILE (I make it to disappear after 5 seconds). |

Hani's way is good but if you need your viewer to NOT be able to move until the time is up it wont work for long. SPACE for example will move on.
You might need to use Kiosk Mode to lock the keyboard and have buttons to move that only appear or activate when the time is up. You would want to add a password to prevent modify too. |
