Default Action Button stays in edit mode

I have tried creating an action button but it stays in edit mode i.e. when I click on it it just highlights the button and opens the Drawing Tools menu. How can I save the button so it activates the associated hyperlink?

Thanks

Action buttons in PPT can ONLY be used in a slide show. They do not work in edit mode. You can Right click and Run Hyperlink but this is not usually useful.

Thanks. I finally figured that out minutes ago after having wasted hours!
