Insert 4/3 presentation on 16/9 slide

When I use Insert > Object in order to show a 4/3 presentation on a 16/9 slide, the 4/3 presentation in Slide Show View jumps to 4/3 full screen mode, thus showing black bars on the left and on the right.
Is there a way to have the 4/3 presentation play within the 16/9 frame, so that you keep seeing the 16/9 background?

Meanwhile I switched to making a video of the 4/3 presentation and inserting that to the 16/9 slide. But if there is a solution for the Insert Object issue, I would still love to hear it. Thanks!

A presentation inserted as an object will always play full screen (in this case with black bars)
