Default Elements appear different between master slide and regular slide views

Hello.

I'm designing a template for a big client who's very detail oriented.
I'm having some issues with my slide looking one way in the slide master mode, and then another way in the regular slide view.

I'm designing my slide in the master slide view, and want the finished slide to look exactly like my slide master one.

- My optional title is much bigger in regular slide view.
- The example text in the bullet box is not in english (it needs to be)
- The "click icon to insert picture" text in the picture placeholder has completely changed.

I need some help understanding why this happens. Can anyone help me?

As far as I know you cant define a 'global document language'?
I'm in Norwegian Powerpoint 2013. Would buying the english language pack help me solve the difference in laguages issue? I've checked the spelling language for the bullet box and it's english.

And why does my optional title box change its font size??

I'd appreciate som help here!

Ok so I solved my Optional title text size and picture placeholder example text issues by simply deleting the placeholders and inserting new ones (in slide master mode).

Doesent really make any sense but ok
