2013 Ppt thumbnails, images issue

I generated PPT's using vb6 application,,,, these ppts are working fine upto 2010 PowerPoint

.
but when i open the same slides in 2013 images are not displayed in Thumbnails pane

..... If i edit any text of the slide then automatically images getting displayed

.

ERROR: the image cannot currently be displayed
