Since Upgrading to Windows 10 PowewrPoint files sent by email will not open
Can anyone help. Since I upgraded to Windows 10 I am unable to open PowerPoint files sent by email both those sent from Windows 10 and earlier versions. Opening the same email in Windows 7 is fine. Whether I send from another computer or the same computer using Windows Live Mail in Windows 10 or webmail makes no differences all received files are corrupt when receiving in a Windows 10 machine. I'm wondering if I have to revert to Windows 7 as I had no problems then. Albie |

I've found the remedy, download the file, right click and select properties. Then under the General tab at the bottom select UNBLOCK, apply and close. The file will then open.
This applies to all Office files sent from the internet or network. |
