Default Playing a video in a smaller space to make up for poor image quality of video

I have a video playing on a powerpoint slide. It's a low quality video - maybe 240p. I can physically smush the video while in edit mode - making the video smaller, but less grainy. It looks fine this way.

I then turn to present mode, and the video is full size - looking grainy. How do I stop the video from jumping from the initial size that I shrunk it to in edit mode to the large size it defaults to in slideshow mode?
