I am making an interactive learning and support resource for my pupils to use outside of class time (with the help of Mix!) and am struggling to get the powerpoint to behave how I want it to.



I am looking to have it automatically transition through 3 narrated introduction slides before stopping at a sort of 'home' page, where they can hyperlink through to one of four separate areas. These four areas then will have a contents for that area hyperlinking to tutorial videos or additional resources etc, which do not need to have any relationship with each other than linking to the same contents and area. I am struggling to make this happen and need some guidance.

To clarify the previous paragraph, if one area is for tutorial videos for instance, it would needto be linked both ways to the contents page of that area (tutorial videos), but not in any way to any other of the tutorial videos. The problem arises when I am doing a hybrid between automated transitions and a non-linear approach, of which I am struggling to find any instances where these two are combined successfully in a clear tutorial. That is why I post here.


I have attached a jpeg diagram showing what I'm after. Note the automatic transition from intro 1, 2, 3, and stopping at 'home'. Also note the lack of relationship in the areas (ie no two of the red boxes in area 2 are directly linked for instance, but instead both connected to the home page.
