Problem with timings on Power Point song presentation
I have a slide presentation that is song lyrics. I've already got the music set up in th presentation and I want to time each slide to the music so that it plays automatically in time with the music.. Unfortunately every time I run it and do rehearse timings, the slides changes don't stay in sync with the music. I turned off any fancy slide transitions so that shouldn't affect timing. I've also tried to adjust the timings manually, but they still go out of sync. What am I doing wrong? I can manually change the slides if I have to, but I only want to do that as a last resort. Am I expecting too much out of PowerPoint 13? Last edited by W0bud; 04-15-2015 at 12:04 PM. Reason: Spelling |

PowerPoint has never been great at perfect synching music. 2013 on windows 8 seems especially bad.

It all depends on the speed of your machine and what you have running in the background. Any deck with a long audio track playing over many slides will play differently on other machines, all due to speed. If you have a rock solid system that has a decent processor and faster drive then you will have no issues.

For many with 2013 on W8 you will find that processor speed / memory do not really help. SOME machines are miles out and others are close and two runs on the same PC can give different results,
