Default Calendar Report

Hi,
First of all thank you so much for checking my question.
Secondly I have a question on my calendar format report.
I am using ColdFusion as my front-end to build this report, and back end is MS SQL Server.
Anyway as I mentioned above I can convert HTML Calendar page into PPT Calendar Report.

Please see the attachment before continue to read the below.
Each cell (or day) of the calendar report could have more than one events. Let's say I have 3 events that happen on May 18, 2015 and they are Cora, Emma and ABC-123. I can make each event with different color, but my users want to draw different background color for each event, and I have been spending hours to do so but there is no luck.
And the background should be connected relatively with its cell, means if I make the cell wider, then color background of the event should be wider and fit in its cell. I wonder if it possible to do so using native PPT language
Thank you so much in advance
