Default editing content for visual consistency

I've been reviewing some content for a colleague, using Word for styles (visual consistency) and track changes (efficient reviewing). After accepting all the changes, he uses the .docx file as an outline to create a new PowerPoint presentation.

What we're wondering now is, does PowerPoint have paragraph/character styles hidden away somewhere? and/or how can we change (one off, consistently!) the way PowerPoint renders the different levels.

Oh, and while we're at it … bringing in linked (or pasted) graphics would also be a time-saver.

I don't think you can change that within PowerPoint. I always massage the Word file first. Not sure if bulk loading images from a word doc is possible.

Thanks, Tony … less integration that one might have wished :-}

That would be a great addition but agree that I don't think this is possible.

Does anyone know if this is possible through PowerPoint programming interfaces? (i.e. VBA automation)

John
