Default Start Animation with click on multiple trigger (after one another)

Hello,
after spending half a day trying, I'm giving up and try to find help here I would like to depict animated lanes from Asia to the US. The layout is as follows:
A map of Asia on the left, a map of the USA on the right side. Above this, there are different texts stating the origins (e.g."Bangkok", "Singapore") and the destinations ("Miami", "Atlanta",...)
In between those two graphics I'd like to let arrows appear that go from Bangkok to Miami, BAngkok to Atlanta,... according to the origin and destination that I clicked on - one after another (because otherwise I would have to write out all different combinations, what would not look very nice). In case that is easier to do it would also be okay if there was a hyperlink to another slide that opens only after clicking on two different objects.

As I am not familiar with VBA, it would be nice to have a solution without it - but if there is only a VBA solution I'd still be happy to have it, I'm confident that I might actually be able to do it

And just in case somebody really wants to hit it: Maybe there would even be a possibility that one could choose out of a dropdown list, after choosing two different things the arrow/a new page pops up.

Thanks a lot for the help and please excuse my English, I am not a native speaker.

It could be done with a complex series of triggers but be aware it will be complex!

I have added a quick simple demo. If you take some time to unravel the animation you should be able to see how it was done.

Thanks John, that works very well!

Just one more question: In presentation mode, the mouse pointer does not appear everywhere on the 2nd trigger field (in your example that would be e.g. a-c trigger / b-c trigger) that I want to click on to start the animation. I think it is because the trigger fields are placed on top of each other, but for some reason in your example it works and in mine it doesn't.
Do you have an idea how I could solve this problem?

Default Actually...

...it doesn't work as well as I thought. Maybe what I want to do with it is just too complex, or I am making a major mistake. I attached the file so you actually see what I tried.

The problem now is that no matter where I click, most of the times the arrow goes from Yangon to LA (or Atlanta if I choose that one) but not out of one of the other cities. I think I did the steps according to the abc example, but there must be sth wrong with my approach.

Btw, Atlanta has the different trigger fields but only one arrow from Yangon since I figured as long as it doesn't work I don't have to continue building the slide

It would be so nice if you could help me out, it drives me crazy that I can't figure it out myself!

p.s. for the object names: "Pfeil" means arrow!

... anyone? I'd really appreciate some help on this one, is it just too complex and does not make sense to try, or am I just making a major mistake?

I don't have time at the moment to do this but you haven't grasped the principle.

For example over LA you need a shape for each of the airports in Asia. Each one triggers the correct arrow. You need to repeat this for all of the other USA airpoint

If you click Hanoi (for example) it needs to trigger all of the USA "Cover Shapes" disapearing EXCEPT the ones from Hanoi. Then when you click any of the US airports the correct arrow will appear. This is how my example works. You would also need to add animations to reset everything. I told you it would be complex!
