Default Changing order of animations in slide show mode

Is it possible to change the order the animations happen whilst in a slide show. Was thinking you maybe able to issue a command number to it so when I press the a certain button that animation will happen. I am trying to create a game show for a class, with different possible answers and only want to reveal the answer once the class has said it? Any help on this matter would be great!!

I can obviously do this by clicking on the animation I want to use, but i wanted to try and do it without the cursor being seen?
