I'm having a lot of trouble creating a template for a project I'm working on. I have gone into the slide master and created a couple of shapes that I want to use on the title slides. I want to set the title text box over one of the shapes and another text box over the other shape to use as a subtitle. I arrange the text boxes and resized them so they sit right on top of their respective shapes, but when I view the presentation to test it out, the text boxes are in the default positions of the title slide in a blank powerpoint document.

I first thought I might have to save the slide master and then come out and check it, but I tried and it did not help.
Inside the slide master, everything is still just how I want it, and everything is working correctly (I have some animations on), but when I go outside the slide master, The text boxes are much larger, and they are not in the correct position.

Any idea on how to fix this? Thanks in advance for any help you may have for me.
