Unhappy PPT2013 and Adobe Presenter 9 not linked

Two months ago or so my ppt2013 lost the ribbon for Adobe Presenter 9. I've reinstalled everything - still doesn't show up! Any suggestions?

Did you check in File >Options > AddIns that it hasn't been disabled?

If you right mouse click on the Ribbon area and select Customize Ribbon. Is it listed in the right hand column of the screen, make sure it has a tick in the checkbox to ensure it is displayed on the Ribbon.

Default Still no Presenter

I have gone through the Options > Add-ins > moved the Adobe Presenter PowerPoint COM Addin from Inactive to Active many times using the COM Add-ins > Go

Then, as suggested, I right clicked in the Ribbon Bar > clicked Customize Ribbon > made sure the Add-Ins was checked (it was) > opened the menu and saw three grayed out items - Menu Commands, Toolbar Commands, and Custom Toolbars.

Still no Presenter 9 ribbon.

If it keeps going inactive sounds like there may be a problem with the Add In.

Maybe they have seen the problem before. This is from the Adobe Forum

If the above solution doesn't work, try the following:

  1. Click the Office PowerPoint button (upper left), and then click PowerPoint Options.

  2. Select Add-Ins. In the Manage pop-up menu at the bottom of the dialog box, select COM Add-Ins and click Go.

  3. Select Adobe Presenter Powerpoint COM Addin from the list. Write down the Location path.

  4. Deselect all add-ins in the list except the Adobe Presenter Addin and click Remove.

  5. Click Add and navigate to the MenuLauncher.dll file at the location you wrote down in step 3.

  6. Click OK. Click OK again.
