How do I invoke Powerpoint Viewer?
I have MS Office 2007 and am able to bring up Powerpoint to create a slide show/presentation. But when finished I'd like to open the file with Powerpoint Viewer and am not able to do so. I had expected to open the viewer and then select a file that I wish to view. I obviously do not understand how the Viewer is even used? Thanks for helping out. Uncle Dewey |

Why do you want to use the Viewer when you have the full version of PowerPoint?
Assuming you do need to. Try right clicking on a PPTX file and choose "Open With". There may be an option to use the viewer. |

How do I invoke Powerpoint Viewer
You are right John--I don't need the "Viewer", but what did I know? I just wanted to be able to display the presentation/show to "whoever", which I can do by selecting "slide show".
Thanks a bunch--you did help me. Uncle Dewey |

Yep that's what I suspected.
Some quick tips for starting a show f5 key start from the beginning SHIFT f5 start from the slide you have selected You can also click the icon bottom left or right (depends on version) that looks like a tiny screen. |
