![]() Hi. On my laptop I'm making a presentation in Power Point. In some of the "pictures" i insert a video with sound, made in Da Vinci Resolved. But when I present it, it would not show the video and I get the message that it don't have the kodec for it. The same presentation works fine on my big computer and it function good when i play the media-file in VLC on the same desktop. Can somebody tell me what I have to do to get it work? Thx! |

Codecs are computer specific and you need have them installed on each one. You don't want to download them manually as that can cause issues. Try running the file in Windows Media Player. Does it work. You can update your Codecs directly in Windows Media Player
Enable Automatic Codec Updates in Windows Media Player: Open Windows Media Player. Go to "Organize" > "Options". Navigate to the "Player" tab. Check the box for "Download codecs automatically". Select how often you want updates to occur (e.g., "Once a day" or "Once a week"). Click "OK" to save the changes. let us know if this fixes the issue |
