Keeping Font Color Changes After Switching Slides
I'm working on a powerpoint gameshow to be used during a training class. The way it's currently set up, there's a wheel that spins and lands on one of three numbers. When the wheel stops, the presenter can click on the chosen number and it will take them to one of three "index" slides representing different point values. Each index has 10 numbers players can click on, and each number is tied by an Action to a different slide with a question.
I've put an animation on each number listed on an index slide, so that once the number is selected, it changes color to let players know that the number/question has already been chosen. I could also have the number disappear but that doesn't seem to resolve the issue.
What happens is when I move from one index slide to the next. As long as I keep returning to (for example) Index Slide A, the numbers will retain their color change. But if I choose Index Slide B from the wheel, reveal a question, then go back to Slide A from the wheel, all of the color changes on A are forgotten.
It's a real mystery to me because it only happens when I maneuver between the index slides. If I go from Slide A to a question slide, go back to the wheel and then go to Slide A again, the color change stays.
I hope I've explained this well enough. As a last resort, I plan to just put all of the indexed numbers on one slide, but for the purpose of the gameshow it would look better if I could keep them separate.
