Error trying to use active X textbox
I really need to use an active X textbox to have a scrollable text field, but when I try to edit the properties I get the following error (attached in image as well).
System error: &H80004005 (-214746759) Unspecified error. Completely unhelpful. I searched around online and have not been able to find any useful help. Could somebody please either: A) Tell me how to fix this. or B) Give me another scrolling text field alternative. I have a significant amount of text I need to talk students through on a page, and putting each bit on a news slide as I move around isn't practical. |

It would probably help if you actually said what property you were trying to change.
As a minimum you would need a vertical scroll bar, multiline = true |

I want to set it up to be a scrolling text box...with a scrollbar..by making it multiline.
But I can't access the properties at all without getting that error. I can put a box on the screen, but that is it. I can't open up a a property list in any way. |
