Audio compression---please help!
I am in urgent need of some help here.
I have a PP lecture for students that contains quite a bit of audio. But when I go to compress it it says "already compressed" and space saved none. But the files are huge, and the quality is too high. And I know what the audio can be compressed more. I tried saving off all the sound clips and re-compressing them, and this made them MUCH smaller. I then tried to insert those into the slides and remove the original audio. But PPT doesn't always seem to start and stop those sound clips with slide transitions, even though they are set to start when the slide does. I really need help on this. The narration took hours to do and it is a problem I keep running into. MSppt just will not compress the audio to any significant degree. It says already compressed. I am under some real time constraints here since I have been dealing with these bugs for so long. Please help! |
