Problems with managing slides during a presentation
I have a Toshiba 15 inch laptop, running Windows 7 with Power Point 2010 installed. The laptop is connected by the VGA port to a Sharp 60 inch TV for presenting the Power Point presentations. This all works without problems. I have NO PROBLEM creating the slides need for our Bible Study.
The problem with Power Point 2010, and perhaps all versions, is that the display is serial front to back forward and reverse. A remote mouse helps to manage selecting slides but still requires a lot of attention when you concentrate on a discussion with the class and the need to keep eyes on the men. Is there a better way of managing the slide presentation. Ideally I would like to know of a tablet that would allow me to show all the slides for a class at one time, or at the least show a large number and easily go from group to group of slides like a page. Then I could simply touch the slide desired and go to that in a very random fashion and not serial as I presently must. Cost, certainly not a 600.00 device, there seems to be a lot of 7 inch refurbished units around. Some have a remote 2 screen with need of a wire connection, but not with a Sharp TV display. Hey Guys help me out here! I want to solve this limitation of managing slide presentations. |
