Default Adding Flash object to .ppt

Good Morning to Everyone on the Board -

I am trying to embed a Flash object into power point. Generically, I know that I need to:
1) Open new slide

2) Show the Tools tool bar
3) Select Flash Player and insert it onto the slide
4) Select Properties.....

This is where I run into problems. The instructions I found show that after I select Properties on the flash object I inserted, there should be a line labeled "Custom" where I enter the location of the flash file...when I select Properties, there is no "Custom" line (Yet, on the website I look at, there it is, plain as day). BTW, I'm using PPT 2002.

Thoughts?

Thankx.
