Custome animation on selected text

Hi
I have a sequence of questions like the fiee I have attached

1. There is a timer in some slide. It starts automatically when the slide is viewed, but when i interrupt it before it ends by mouse click or pressing arrow keys it shows "End" and i have to press mouse again to show the next slide.
I want it should go to the next slide on one click

2. I want to change the color of any one option on a click but the animation is applied on the whole text box.

Please help me in any of the above

The only way would be to cover slide 2 with a transparent shape and give it an action of NEXT SLIDE
