Placeholder Layouts - Text boxes re-arrange illogically
Hello,
I'm trying to change the design of all our powerpoint presentations. When I change the design, Powerpoint seems to believe the new subtitle box is the page content box, and the page content box is the subtitle box. Meaning I have to manually re-arrange each page. How can I assign which placeholder gets updated from the old design to the new design? |

It's an annoying bug that as of this date still isn't fixed.
Have you created your new template from scratch? If you use the old template as the base for the new template then it will remember what template boxes are meant for what. If you create it from scratch the order is reset. So in this case lets say your subtitle text box in the old template is Textbox32 and in your new template which is build from scratch is reseted to Textbox11. The problem with this type of advanced template creation is that you can't properly label the fields. Maybe this will be applied in an update someday. MRVN |
