Importing slides into new presentation - keeping slide numbers
Hello,
Is there any way to name slides? I have a presentation with rollovers in it. It works fine whilst I'm using it but the slides will ultimatly be put into another presentation (not by me). When I practice this on my own because it's still trying to find the slide I originally hyperlinked the image to, the action stops working. Is there any way I can over come this? I've tried to re-use the slides and keep formatting but that didn't work. |

The short answer is no (well no simple way without coding or trickery)
Hyperlinks do not depend on the slide number or name but on the Slide ID which is a unique number that is not visible to the normal user. The problem is that this number is only unique within a given presentation. When you combine two or more presentations there will initially be duplicates and PPT will "fix" this by changing some of the IDs - almost certainly breaking your hyperlinks. |
