Hi,
I'm having a very annoying issue with the embedding font functionality in PowerPoint. Basically, I create a new blank PowerPoint presentation. I go to options, save, select "embed fonts in the fille", "ALL". Press ok and save. No problem. Then I'm copying a slide from another presentation to this one and keep the source formatting. Press save again and PowerPoint tells me I have 3 fonts he cannot embed. Lucida Grande, Gill Sans and something Chinese ProN W3. I look at my slide and none of these fonts are being used. To make sure, I remove everything from this slide, make it blank like it used to be, yet these 3 fonts are still there. You can download the file here and see for yourself: POWERPOINT FONT PROBLEM (1st slide is original, 2nd one was imported with bad fonts.) If I don't keep the source formatting, the fonts are not coming with the slide but my whole layout is wrong as the slides master are not there. Can anyone help me clear this problem? Basically I did this because my main presentation got this problem for a while now. I need to embed all fonts as I share the presentation for other sales manager who need to be able to edit it and make it their own. I can obviously install the fonts and embed them in the PPT but I don't need them and it takes unnecessary space. Many thanks in advance for your feedback. Best Regards Flo |

The fonts appear to be in the second master.
If you apply any of the first master layouts to slide 2 and then delete the second master they might be gone. |
