Default Power Point Browser Mode

Hi All

I'm trying to get powerpoint to open in Internet Explorer but in slide show mode, not editing mode.

Basically, I've uploaded the file (ppt) to a server and have a link to download it. But when you click on the link, it opens up the ppt inside the browser and none of the links (to other slides) work? it just seems to allow you to edit them!

I need it to open, so people can only view the slide show in the browser, and click around as normal?

I've searched on google for a solution but they all just keep saying its a configuration change on your computer or in the registry of your computer.

Is there a way that does not require users to reconfigure their own computer but just opens it in the manner ive described?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

thank you all
