Tables in Powerpoint - Hiding Cells
In PowerPoint 2010 I want to set up a 5x5 table, each cell containing data. BUT .... I want to sequentially reveal the data, cell by cell. Does anyone know if there is an easy way to do this? Currently I need to cover each cell with a shape the size of each cell, and then "fade" it to reveal the cell contents - surely there has to be an easier way to do this? Any assistance will be appreciated.

There really isn't. Major oversight IMHO. I've lost count of the time companies has asked us to write a code patch but even this is not really possible.
The way you describe is probably best you can also copy and paste special as an EMF and then ungroup twice to get a pseudo table that can be animated. It won't act like a table if you want to edit though. |
