I have a chart in Excel (sort of a dark gray style), I click the chart, copy it, paste it into a slide in Powerpoint, and it changes to a bright green. Then, my previous style is not available from the drop-down. How can I get my dark gray style back?

How did you paste??
Try Right Click and choose the second option (Keep source format) |
