Default Tiny picture/document links

So, I'm creating a Powerpoint for training new employees. In the PP, I have put a hyperlink to another document on some text. What's supposed to happen is that the blue hyperlinked text takes you to a picture of the first page of the document, and then clicking on the picture opens the actual complete PDF. However, after completing this sequence of events one time, the picture becomes teeny tiny. You can still click on it, but you can't recognize it for what it is. Does anyone have any clue why this is happening? Or what can be done to fix it? Here is a pic so you can see what I mean.

Thanks!
