I'm presuming the speakers do not correctly use a master. If they did you could just apply your template.
If not a macro could probably replicate what you do manually but in seconds. Are you au fait with macros? can you describe the usual steps you take to fix presentations. eg I set the bacground to solid and rgb (127,127,127) I change all fonts to calibri etc
