Transition timings
I'm trying to teach myself how to add background audio to a presentation and having some step-by-step trouble as it seems there are multiple ways to do the same thing and my settings are changing from one slide to the next. Ideally, here is what I'd *like* to do:
I have a seven page PPT. Each slide has about 4 - 6 objects on it. I'd like to play a 3-minute song from slides 2 - 7 and have the timing for when each object pops up and the advance to the next slide be consistent throughout the entire presentation. Right now, it seems like I have to manually calculate how much of a delay I want. And each time I edit anything, it switches the Start option for each object to "On Click". I want it to be automatic. And when I go to change it, it only lets me seclect "After Previous", which then makes those objects all come up together instead of a delay in-between them. |

Set up the presentation with on click animation and set the sound to play across slides.
Now choose Slide Show > Rehearse Timings Click when you want shapes to appear or slides to transition. At the end choose keep timings. |
